Hume Bank customers can now use Google Pay to quickly, conveniently and securely, make contactless payments.
As part of Hume Bank’s commitment to provide the best possible digital banking experience, expanding the range of mobile payment services to include Google Pay for our customers was the next logical step.
Hume Bank Chief Design & Marketing Officer, Jason Woolhouse, said Hume Bank is providing customers with more choice to make contactless payments. “We know our customers want to be able to ‘tap and pay’ – it’s fast, easy, and convenient."
“Digital wallets and mobile payments are part of the innovations that we’re investing in to meet the demands of our customers,” Mr Woolhouse said.
From today, customers with compatible devices can download the Google Pay app from the Google Play Store, add their Hume Bank VISA debit and credit card, and make payments in store, online and with Google products.
Hume Bank is contacting eligible customers to let them know that Google Pay is now available to them and how they can start using the service immediately.
