Hume Bank’s Board of Directors thanks Mr. Leo O’Reilly for his long-term dedication to the customer owned bank, as he retires from the Board of Directors.
“Hume Bank has grown strongly over the last 60 plus years by providing relevant, customer driven banking products and services. Leo has played a large part in that success. The Board thanks him for his dedication and contribution and wishes him all the best with his retirement plans.” shared Tony Whiting, Hume Bank Chairman.
Leo has been a Board member since February 1998, and was the Chair of the Audit Committee and contributed as a member of the Audit, Remuneration & Succession and Risk Committees.
Reflecting on his time with Hume, Leo acknowledged in his farewell address to the Board and staff that he saw his 20 years on the Board and even longer affiliation with Hume Bank, a great pleasure and privilege to be associated with such a great organisation.
