Sales and Service Specialist – Goulburn Murray

The position:

 

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Sales & Service team in the Goulburn Murray region (Wangaratta, Howlong, Corowa & Rutherglen). This will be a full time, 12-month, Maximum Term Contract.

You will be responsible for delivering outstanding frontline service to our customers and you will gain a well-developed knowledge of Hume Bank products and services to ensure accurate transactional processing. This position is the perfect opportunity for someone with a passion for excellent customer service to start their career in the Financial Services Industry and gain invaluable skills in a professional working environment.

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Working within our branches to deliver exceptional service to current and potential customers in line with Hume’s standards and policies and maximising the customer experience 
  • Developing and maintaining comprehensive knowledge of our products and services
  • Cash handling including accurately processing transactions and end of day balancing 
  • Proactively assisting customers with their stated and unstated needs and increasing loyalty to Hume Bank.
  • Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
  • Actively participating in continuous learning

We are looking for a highly agile, motivated and results driven, Business Analyst to join our Design and Marketing team in Albury.

The Business Analyst will work with both Product and Marketing, assisting in the delivery of innovation projects and activity across the business. This will be working with technical and non-technical teams, creating user journeys and working on end-to-end delivery of projects. 

Working in a data centric environment, the Business Analyst is key to analysing, interpreting and then transforming data into usable insights.

This is a permanent role based at our head office in Albury, NSW with flexible working arrangements if required. 

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Use data analytics and insights to make recommendations to key stakeholders to identify and resolve emerging issues.
  • Effectively identify and define business needs and problems/issues to enable a feasible solution scope to be developed.
  • Assess and document the current state of business to identify and recommend improvements and verification and validation of resulting requirements.
  • Determine the effectiveness of proposed solutions including the identification of any associated risks as well as the risk for not implementing the solution.
  • Convert business needs into functional designs and lead business stakeholders towards functional design decisions.
  • Conducting gap analysis end-to-end on documentation that has been completed.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of standards, procedures, and methodologies to maximise the effectiveness of the product delivery lifecycle.
  • Support innovative and creative thinking to test and foster new ideas and concepts and facilitate a way to share these across all areas of the bank.
  • Support the virtual delivery team to champion innovation and co-create, play and use a ”fail-fast” and proof of concept approach in their drive for continuous improvement and evolution.
  • Using insights and trends to provide advice and guidance to Management and ensure policies and processes within department are best practice so that Hume can anticipate market developments and maintain competitive advantage. 

 

About you:

 

  • A Bachelor degree in a relevant field
  • Experience in business analysis or process improvement 
  • Financial Services experience highly regarded
  • Experience working in Agile environments, or application of Agile methodology preferable 
  • Knowledge of reporting and operational processes, including sound understanding of reporting tools 
  • Ability to translate analysis into insights and commentary
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Exceptional ability to identify issues and problem solve

We are looking for a highly agile, innovative and results driven, Design Specialist to join our Design and Marketing team in Albury. 

The Design Specialist will work with both the Product and Marketing teams, reporting to the Chief Design and Marketing Officer, and will be responsible for sourcing and making use of customer research, data and operational insights to design human-centred experiences that optimise customer journeys and help the business achieve its strategic objectives. 

This very visible role will participate in innovation and cross functional projects/activities on an ongoing basis and will be a key stakeholder in all levels of design, testing and implementation.

This is a permanent role based at our head office in Albury, NSW with flexible working arrangements if required. 

 

Your key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Use a variety of generative research, as well as analysis and synthesising of data to understand the customer journey, identify efficiencies and friction points and solve complex problems.
  • Translate research into solutions by interpreting the creative needs of the solution and creating project briefs, presentations, user flows, wireframes, mock-ups and other necessary documentation to communicate the user experience.
  • Communicate and present to key stakeholders and management research findings through scorecards, personas and journeys.
  • Brainstorm, research, wireframe, design, and refine user experiences within specified product requirements and deadlines.
  • Contribute to the design and required architecture for products and channels.
  • Lead the user experience and interface idea generation process to achieve the best creative approach.
  • Execute design concepts through design, testing and implementation.
  • Support innovative and creative thinking to test and foster new ideas and concepts and facilitate a way to share these across all areas of the bank.
  • Support the virtual delivery team to champion innovation and co-create, play and use a “fail-fast” and proof of concept approach in their drive for continuous improvement and evolution.

 

About you:

 

  • A Bachelor degree in a relevant field
  • Expertise in web and mobile design, a modern aesthetic style, creative approaches to complex problems and attention to detail
  • Experience in lean UX and agile methodology to test and iterating design solutions
  • Ability to design solutions with a strong understanding in UI architecture and Frontend / Backend constraints
  • Proficiency with design and prototyping tools, such as; Adobe CC (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Adobe XD), Figma, Zeplin, Sketch, Invision, Azure
  • A disciplined approach to problem solving and an ability to critically assess a range of information to differentiate true business needs as opposed to user requests.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Financial Services experience highly regarded
