We’re making some changes to our All Purpose Account, effective 1 July 2026.
What’s changing?
From 1 July 2026, all customers with an All Purpose Account will receive unlimited fee-free transactions. This will replace the current allowance of 20 fee-free transactions per month, making it easier for customers to use their account without worrying about transaction fees. Sub-accounts will also receive unlimited fee-free transactions.
Other account changes taking effect on 1 July 2026 are:
- Account interest rate will change from 0.01% p.a. to 0.00% p.a.
- New All Purpose Accounts will no longer be available to open.
What you need to do
Current All Purpose Account customers don’t need to do anything and can continue using their account as normal. These changes will be applied automatically from 1 July 2026.
If you are under 22 years of age, you already enjoy the benefit of fee-free banking on your All Purpose Account. These changes mean this benefit will continue beyond your 22nd birthday.
