About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to join our Product & Innovation team, based at our Head Office in Albury, NSW.
In this hands-on role, you’ll play a key role in bringing ideas to life through supporting strategic projects, business-led initiative, or identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. By developing a deep understanding of our business, you’ll translate our business needs into practical, effective solutions.
Reporting to the Head of Transformation, you’ll work closely with stakeholders across the business on projects from discovery to delivery, ensuring we land change well across the business. You will develop a deep understanding of business needs to unpack complex challenges, and help design practical, effective solutions that make a real difference to the way we work and deliver for our customers.
Based at our Head Office in Albury, NSW, Flexible working arrangements, such as Working from Home are available when residing in the Albury area.
What you can expect
- Gather, validate, and document business requirements, concept papers and design specifications for strategic projects.
- Model business processes and encourage continuous improvement championing creative thinking
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to understand data and reporting needs.
- Deliver projects through all stages of the lifecycle, working with Project Sponsors, SMEs, and delivery teams.
- Effectively communicate requirements to stakeholders to manage issues, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment along the way.
- Solve business challenges by understanding and analysing problems and find solutions.
About you
To be successful in the role, you will have:
- Experience in Financial Services (Insurance, Banking, Superannuation, Wealth Management) (desirable)
- Business analysis and solutions design (desirable)
- Previous experience in a business, portfolio, project, solution analyst capacity (desirable)
- Previous experience in Payments and Origination or significant IT system transformations (desirable)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and oral
- Very strong attention to detail
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) & tools such as PowerBI, SQL, Excel, Power Automate, and Microsoft Visio would be highly regarded
- Process modelling experience would be advantageous
- Diploma or Degree in related field (desirable)
- PMBOK, Prince 2, Agile qualifications (desirable)

Our process
- Once the role is closed, we review all applications against the requirements, creating a shortlist for further review.
- If your application is successful, you may receive an initial screening call to further assess your suitability, before being invited to an interview.
- We conduct two rounds of interviews, with the first interview being held with the supervisor and a member of our People Team. You may be invited back to a shorter second round interview with the head of the department.
- The final stage is to compete some quick compliance checks, before (hopefully) receiving an offer.
