Brand Survey Competition

Terms and Conditions

  1. This competition (“Competition”) is conducted by Hume Bank (“Promoter”). The survey is being conducted on behalf of Hume Bank by the independent market research agency Nature Sydney Pty Ltd (“Nature”).
  2. Entry to the Competition constitutes acceptance of these terms and conditions. All entry instructions and prize information published by the Promoter form part of these terms and conditions.
  3. The Competition is only open to individuals who:

(i) are Australian residents

(ii) enter via the online research survey

(iii) are not employees of the Promoter or any of its related corporations or any of their agencies associated with the Competition; (“Entrant”).

  1. The Competition commences at 12:00pm Sydney time on 19 January 2026 and closes at 11:59pm Sydney time on 2 February 2026 (“Entry Period”).
  2. Except otherwise indicated, all amounts stated in these conditions are stated in Australian dollars.
  3. Entry to the Competition is via Hume Bank’s online research survey. To enter and be eligible to win, survey participants must complete the survey fully, with valid responses, and with a valid email address provided. A maximum of one entry per Entrant is permitted and only one prize per Entrant can be won. The prize winners will be drawn based on their response to the task by a Nature employee.
  4. There is no cost to enter the Competition; however, internet connection and usage rates may apply. Entrants should obtain details of such costs from their service providers. The Promoter is not and will not be liable for any such costs.
  5. Entries must be received during the Entry Period. The Promoter takes no responsibility for late, lost, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, illegible or misdirected entries or for any delays or failures in any telecommunications service or equipment.
  6. The Promoter may, at its absolute discretion, declare an entry made by an Entrant invalid if the Entrant tampers with the entry process, benefits from such tampering or submits an entry that is illegible, incomplete or not in accordance with these terms and conditions.

THE PRIZE AND THE WINNER

  1. The winner (“Winner”) of the $1000 Luxury Escapes gift voucher will be selected at 4.00 pm Sydney time on 23 February 2026 at Suite 10.02, 50 Berry Street, North Sydney, NSW, 2060.
  2. The Winner is entitled to a $1000 Luxury Escapes gift voucher (“Prize”).
  3. The Winner will be notified in writing via email within two business days of the draw. The Promoter reserves the right to ask for proof of ID and/or the address to claim the prize.
  4. The Prize will be emailed to the Winner within 28 days of making contact.
  5. The Prize notification will state that the Prize has been won and will include instructions as to how the Winner may claim the Prize and establish their entitlement to it.
  6. If the Promoter’s representative is unable to contact the Winner by email within 1 week of the draw, the Promoter will draw the next Winner at random on 2 March 2026 until a Winner has been contacted.
  7. Prizes are not transferrable or redeemable for cash and are subject to availability.
  8. The gift voucher will expire 12 months from the date of issue, and it is up to the Winner to use the value of the gift voucher before the expiry date. Any unused balance will not be refunded or credited when the card expires.
  9. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter will not be held liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to direct or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with any prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
  10. The Promoter’s decision in relation to any aspect of the competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into.

  3. All entries become the property of the Promoter. By entering the Competition, each Entrant consents to their personal information being entered onto a database. The Promoter may use this information in any media for future promotional, marketing and publicity purposes without any further reference, or payment, or other compensation to the Entrant. The Promoter may also publish the Winner’s full name, locality and entry response on the Promoter’s website.

Terms & Conditions

  1. The Hume Bank ‘Christmas Competition – December 2025’ Promotion (Promotion) commences at 12:01am AEDT on 9 December 2025 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 31 December 2025 (Promotion Period). Information on how to enter and prize awarded forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Entry into the Promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.  
  2. The promoter is Hume Bank Limited ABN 85 051 868 556 (Hume Bank) of 492 Olive Street, Albury NSW 2640, Phone 1300 004 863. 
  3. Total competition prize pool is $1,000. 
  4. The Promotion is only open to eligible entrants. An eligible entrant is a person who: 
    a.
    is a Hume Bank customer who makes at least one eligible transaction using a Hume Bank Visa Debit card on an eligible account during the Promotion Period 
    b. is 18 years of age or over 
    c. is an Australian resident, and
    d. is not any of the following: Directors, employees (and their immediate families) of Hume Bank, its related entities, printers, suppliers, providers and agencies who are directly associated with the conduct of this promotion. 
  5. There can only be one entry per eligible entrant. 
  6. Each eligible entrant automatically enters the promotion by making a transaction on their eligible Hume Bank account during the Promotion Period. Eligible accounts include an Essential Account, All Purpose Account, Retirement Account, Business Account or Flexible Loan Offset Account. 
  7. There will be one (1) winner in the Promotion (a Winner) during the Promotion Period. The Winner will be determined at 2.00pm AEST at the offices of Hume Bank at 492 Olive Street, Albury NSW 2640 on Wednesday, 7 January 2026. The Winner will be selected at random from the pool of eligible entrants that comply with the eligibility criteria specified in (4). 
  8. The winner will receive $1,000 transferred to an eligible Hume Bank account of their choice. 
  9. The Winner will be notified by email and the Winner’s name will be published on Hume Bank’s website in accordance with the Schedule specified in (7). 
  10. The Prize will be made available to the Winner by bank transfer no later than 28 days after the relevant draw date for the Prize. 
  11. If a Winner cannot be found or a Winner cannot be determined at a draw, Hume Bank will notify this on its website. 
  12. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, Hume Bank shall determine all questions and issues relating to a person’s eligibility to enter the Promotion, and/or to obtain the Prize, in its absolute discretion, and no correspondence shall be entered into relating to any determination made.  
  13. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, Hume Bank reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take any action that may be available to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Promotion, subject to any requirements of law. Hume Bank reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process. 
  14. Hume Bank will not be liable for any loss or damage which is suffered or for any personal injury suffered or sustained arising directly or indirectly from the Promotion or in connection with any Prize except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

Clancy Koala Christmas Promotion

The Hume Bank Clancy Koala Christmas Promotion (Promotion) commences at 9:00am AEST on Tuesday 2 December 2025 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Saturday 31 January 2026 (Promotion Period). Information on how to qualify and the reward awarded forms part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in the promotion is deemed to be acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

  1. The promoter is Hume Bank Limited ABN 85 051 868 556 (Hume Bank) of 492 Olive Street, Albury NSW 2640, Phone 1300 004 863. 
  2. The promotion is only available to the first 350 eligible customers who:
  3. Open their first and only Hume Bank Clancy Koala account (previously opened and closed Clancy Koala accounts makes you ineligible) and;
  4. Deposit a minimum of $25 AUD into the new Hume Bank Clancy Koala account within the Promotion Period
  5. Each of the eligible customers, up to a maximum of 350 customers during the promotion period will receive a bonus reward of $25 AUD that will be deposited into the qualifying Clancy Koala account within 5 business days
  6. The Promotion reward of $25 AUD can only be claimed once per customer. If more than one Clancy Koala account is opened within the promotional period, only the first account will be eligible. There will be a maximum of 350 eligible customers rewarded provided the eligibility criteria is met
  7. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, Hume Bank shall determine all questions and issues relating to a person’s promotion eligibility, and/or to obtain the Reward, in its absolute discretion, and no correspondence shall be entered into relating to any determination made.
  8. Clancy Koala Accounts are available exclusively to individuals who are 11 years of age or younger at the time of application.
  9. If for any reason the Promotion is not capable of running as planned, Hume Bank reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to take any action that may be available to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition, subject to any requirements of law. Hume Bank reserves the right to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process.
  10. Hume Bank will not be liable for any loss or damage which is suffered or for any personal injury suffered or sustained arising directly or indirectly from the Competition or in connection with any Reward except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 
  11. Any tax liability arising from receipt of the $25 reward will be the responsibility of the customer. Hume Bank will not be liable for any tax consequences that may arise from this Promotion and customers should seek independent tax advice if required

Hume Bank Best Rate Promotion

Terms & Conditions

  1.  Promotion Overview
    1.1 Hume Bank will pay $200 to eligible participants who provide evidence of a lower advertised home loan rate and where Hume Bank is unable to match that rate on a like-for-like basis, subject to the terms below.
  2. Eligibility Criteria
    2.1 To qualify for the Promotion:
    a) The Promotion applies only to new owner-occupied principal and interest home loans.
    b) The applicant must reside in or own a property (or will do so with funds from the loan) within the following postcode locations: 2640, 2641, 2642, 2643, 2644, 2645, 2646, 2647, 2650, 2651, 2652, 2656, 2658, 2659, 2660, 2661, 2678, 2700, 3675, 3676, 3677, 3678, 3682, 3683, 3685, 3687, 3688, 3689, 3690, 3691, 3694, 3695, 3700, 3701, 3704, 3705, 3707, 3708, 3709, 3723, 3732, 3733, 3735, 3746, 3747, 3749.
    c) The lower advertised rate must be publicly advertised on the official website of a licensed Australian financial institution and be current at the time of comparison.
    d) The product being compared must be the same in all material respects: loan purpose, interest structure, and loan-to-value ratio (LVR) tier.
    2.2 The Promotion excludes:
    a) discounted promotional rates;
    b) refinanced home loans from another financial institution; and
    c) Hume Bank staff, contractors, and their immediate families.
  3. Offer and Payment
    3.1 The participant will receive a $200 Visa eGift Card where:
    a) the participant provides to Hume Bank an eligible advertised rate on a like-for-like basis, and
    b) Hume Bank is unable to match the eligible advertised rate.
    3.2 To receive the eGift Card, the claimant must provide a valid email address.
    3.3 The eGift Card will be emailed within 30 days of Hume Bank verifying eligibility.
  4. Verification
    4.1 Hume Bank reserves the right to verify any claimed advertised rate.
    4.2 Hume Bank may reject any claim it considers ineligible or misleading.
  5. Promotion Period
    5.1 The Promotion is valid for a limited time only.
    5.2 The Promotion may be withdrawn by Hume Bank at any time without prior notice.
    5.3 Existing eligible claims will remain eligible, despite withdrawal.
  6. General Terms
    6.1 In addition to the foregoing, this Promotion is subject to the following:
    a) Hume Bank’s standard lending criteria, credit approval, and all applicable laws, including the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).
    b) the offer is not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash
    c) Hume Bank may amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

  5. There can only be one entry per eligible entrant.
  6. The Winners will be determined at 2.00pm AEST at the offices of Hume Bank at 492 Olive Street, Albury NSW 2640 on Wednesday, 17 December 2025. The Winners will be selected by the Customer Experience team based on final design by the entrant.
  7. There will be two (2) winners (Winners). One over 18 years of age and one under 18 years of age. Each Winner will receive:
    a) A Gift Pack to the value of $150.00 (Prize).
  8. Should a Winner be under 12 years of age they must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to collect their Prize from their local Hume Bank branch.
  9. The Winners will be notified by email and the Winners’ names will be published on Hume Bank’s website.
