Enhanced control for business

Hume’s iBank Administration Module can be enabled on top of standard iBank functionality to enable businesses to set-up staff access for different employees from view-only through to full transactional capability.

  • Set up logins and passwords for users within your business.
  • Define the access level of each user.
  • Define transaction limits of each user.
  • Choose the accounts each user can and can't see.
  • Maintain passwords for each of your business users.

User access levels:

Administrator: An Administrator manages the access of all users. An administrator can create logins, determine which accounts are accessible, set authorisation limits and reset passwords. The administrator cannot transact on the account and must create an Internet Signing Authority login if he/she wants to transact on the account. Please note: for security, an administrator cannot create other administrators, this can only be done by Hume.

Internet Signing Authority (ISA): An ISA is a user that has an authority to operate on business accounts as chosen by the administrator. An ISA can only authorise transactions up to a maximum limit set by the administrator.

Data Entry User (DEU): A DEU can create transactions but cannot authorise them. The purpose of a DEU’s is to allow bookkeeper tasks such as downloading statement information, uploading ABA files, preparing payments for authorisation, and maintaining business payees.
