What can I do in online banking?

Once you are registered for iBank, you will be able to:

  • Activate your Visa card
  • Add new and manage existing payees 
  • Change statement method (paper to email)
  • Change your password
  • Change your PIN
  • Check your interest
  • Open accounts 
  • Personalise account names
  • Register for and manage PayIDs
  • See transactions within specified date ranges
  • Set up future payments/transfers
  • Update your contact details

How do I register for online banking?

Register for online banking by calling us on 1300 004 863 between Monday to Friday (8:00am to 5:45pm) and Saturday (9:30am to 12:00pm). 

Have your mobile phone ready, we’ll run through some security questions, and then we’ll help set up your online banking.

How do I reset my online banking password?

If you have SMS authentication enabled on your account:

Click on the ‘Forgotten Password’ link on the iBank login page and follow the prompts. This service is available 24/7 for those who are registered for SMS authentication. 

Need some help? Call us on 1300 004 863, Monday to Friday (8:00am to 5:45pm) and Saturday (9:30am to 12:00pm) and we’ll get you back online. 

Make sure you have your mobile phone ready, we’ll run through some security questions, and then we’ll help you reset your password.

Don’t have SMS authentication enabled on your account?

To keep your accounts and information secure, we’ll need to verify your identity in branch or over the phone on 1300 004 863. We can then reset your password and enable SMS authentication. SMS authentication will mean you can easily reset your password yourself.

How do I change or reset my card PIN?

If you know what your current PIN is, here are the different ways you can change it:

iBank

  • Log in to iBank.
  • Go to ‘My Options’ at the top of the page.
  • Select ‘PIN Change’ and follow the prompts to select a new PIN.
  • We’ll send a one-time password to your mobile phone, so make sure you have your mobile handy.

Hume Bank App

Your PIN can also be changed via the card management function in the Hume Bank App. You can access this by following these steps:

  • Log into the Hume Bank App.
  • Tap the menu icon (three horizontal lines) and select ‘Cards’.
  • Select ‘Change PIN’ and follow the prompts.

What is my daily transaction limit for external transfers via online banking?

If you wish to alter your external transfer limit, call us on 1300 004 863, Monday to Friday (8:00am to 5:45pm) and Saturday (9:30am to 12:00pm). Have your mobile phone ready — we’ll run through some security questions to update your details.
